Footnotes
Lana Del Rey is the only act to do this with a lead single
West Coast is the only song on the list that was an actual single, the rest mostly being promo singles (Means drop was as a promo single)
One Direction are the only songs on the list charting due to the Recent Pre-order effect
We Might Be Dead tomorrow is the only song that charted purely based on video streams
West Coast is the first song to go top 10 on digital songs and exit the Hot Digital 200 the following week
West Coast is the only song on the list replaced on itunes with a radio friendly remix
New footnotes:
West Coast is the first song to go top 10 on digital songs and exit the Hot Digital 200 the following week
West Coast is the only song on the list replaced on itunes with a radio friendly remix
Mmm, there's a difference between dropping because of being *Promo singles* and dropping because it was released right before the album thus having a chart equivalent of zero points due to *Complete Your Album.*
I believe JoBros, Taylorx2, and Gaga are subject to this.
Which is why they changed the rule some months ago.
