It's only been a day eating on thanksgiving will not make a difference. Don't starve yourself. Indulge in the holiday and go jogging the next day or something.
You should consider having a cheat day once a week or every other week. That will allow you to still enjoy the trashy foods often enough that you can maintain your willpower to eat better the rest of the days.
