So what is it that makes ATRL be more attracted to straight men? Why do we want them to come out only to drag them afterwards? Is it the looks that make this huge difference? Discuss.

I mean yeah, that is right, but if we want acceptance and everything, why is there the need of dragging the "gayer" ones all the time. Look at Sam Smith for example. He kind of seemed manly when we didn't know he was gay. Why do we drag him all the time now that he came out?

It's an anti-effect. A lot of gays HATE the stereotype of being "<3 superfem!!" so they tend to lash out against those who fit into that category, because they feel that those people are contributing to that stereotype & giving everyone a "bad name."

Yeah, you are right, sadly. But, I just don't get it. I mean we want to be accepted in all forms and everything, yet we sometimes do the most and just drag people like us when we shouldn't, right? Maybe it is also the way in which we address the problems at times too. I mean why instead of "yasss queen" can't we say the same thing in a nicer way which does not affect any people that feel stereotyped, if they feel attacked by this way of saying things?
