Halloween
Probably my favorite movie of all time. It is the perfect horror film.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
Total derailing from what the Halloween franchise was headed for originally with John Carpenter but the late & great Akkad made this a great slasher.
Halloween II
Michael's neverending search for Laurie was tiring but the originally intended closing to Michael's hunt for Laurie was great. It really should have ended here.
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
*deaf Jamie yells* "Tina!!!!!" As corny as this one was, it was freaking scary.
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later
This was a more tame Akkad production. Instead of all that supernatural **** in the last two movies, Michael went back to his old ways, that is, preying on you-know-who.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch
John Carpenter was about to take the franchise somewhere else. Unfortunately, Season didn't present a good bridge. But I do respect Carpenter for his original intentions of making the franchise about freak-ish events that occur on Halloween night.
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
The supernatural **** was ridiculous was this was quite the scare.
Halloween: Resurrection
Why?
I have faith in Rob Zombie! Please put the franchise to rest properly.
I'm no longer that fond of the franchise but I have seen all of them so I might as well rank them...
