'Bitch' (a slur used towards women) has been reclaimed by many women and is now seen as a term of endearment in many cases. However, 'Bitch' has also become an essential part of the average gay's vocabulary. I get that sometimes it's in admiration ("Yasss bitch!") but other times it isn't (see many ATRL posts). And can you imagine women going around saying "f-word please" all the time? The gays would have our heads. You can then say 'bitch' has become more less impactful due to every day use, but wouldn't that mean if we started using the f-word more casually it too would then become less impactful?
Why do gays feel like they can claim/reclaim this word?
That's what I was saying a few days ago in my thread that got closed
This is true.

I try not to say it too much, because of the meaning behind it.
But whenever I do, I never use it in that way.
It's usually just like "Bitch slay me" or something like that.
Contextually different tbh, I don't get how some people can't see how intent and context actually matter . Most gay men are called girls and have strong connotations with female adjectives hence why a lot of gays are referred to as Queens etc

But you can try it
Doesn't excuse the fact that the word is misogynistic and rude.
If you are using it in a non-derogative way, than okay
But calling a girl a bitch because you're made at her, is wrong
A lot of men use "bitch" regardless of their sexual orientation
Well obviously. But I'm not gonna ask a site full of gays why straight people do something, in the same manner that I wouldn't ask a site full of straight people why gays do something.

Calling gays 'girls' isn't cute and doesn't justify anything.
