It's pretty much a known fact that the majority of ATRLers are gay guys. So my question is...why? Is it that the gays are more passionate about their faves/music? Is it that ATRL serves as a sort of haven and escape from the real world? Or is it another unnamed reason? Discuss and be respectful. And more importantly, don't let my thread flop.

Pop forums in general are filled with gays.

Well.. It's a POP music forum filled with people that worship Beyonce, Rihanna, Britney and Gaga What do people expect. Straights can't stan anyway, they're not sassy enough.

Pop music is like sports for us ****. We argue and debate about stats and talents of our pop gerls just like straight guys do with sports teams/players.

It depends. Have you ever been to All Hip Hop? I guess their sexuality is questionable though.

Not only is this a music forum, but it's pretty much a celebrity/gossip forum, which gays (not trying to sound stereotypical) is attracted to: they're attracted to celebrities, when most straight men really don't care. (Not saying all straight men, btw)

I'm not sure. But look at pop music right now. Mainly females, and gays are easily attracted to women's voices, style, etc.

In seriousness though, I meant for pop females. "Stanning" occurs in other areas, one would just never classify it as such.

This is pop forum so it makes it pretty much gay. And all str8 people will sadly have to deal.
