Mentors will be interesting, especially as they're not judges, their opinions could differ quite significantly. But I think at its core it'll be great especially for the first time players.

I went with it mostly for fairness but you're right about comeback rounds kinda being a waste too.
With mentors, my first thought was moreso for new players. Obviously it's best for the judges to see as little of people's entries before judging as possible, but say somebody doesn't understand meter, a mentor could be of aid in that situation and give them the accurate help they need ind reference to their entry.
