Producer and DJ Mark Ronson gave an update to Charlie Rose on Lady Gaga's highly-anticipated follow-up to 2013's Artpop. Ronson teased a more "analog" approach to the pop star's new music.
Rose brought up Ronson and Gaga's forthcoming collaboration after showing a clip of the producer and singer covering the Talking Heads' "Burning Down the House" at a Met Gala afterparty. "She's never played guitar in public before…but guitar is something she's learning for this record," he teased while complimenting her newly acquired skill.
"She's the happiest when she's sitting at a piano, barking orders at a drummer," Ronson said. "That side of her, I don't think a lot of the world has seen. It's really great to make this very honest, authentic, kind of analog record with her."
Pretty sure it would mean analog recording. Like how there's the old analog clock compared to digital, there is analog for the studio, used in the 50's and 60's for vinyls. I hope I'm not making this **** up lol
Yes, please! I only listen to her "TF" and "TFM" albums but I love all acoustic versions of her recent singles. Her on the piano is so much better than the studio versions. I'd of bought "BTW" or "Artpop" if they were live albums!
