Bomb Squad Blows Up Movie Script Meant For Agent In Beverly Hills
Quote:
BEVERLY HILLS (CBS) — The bomb squad blew up a movie script Thursday morning after it was deemed suspicious, giving it’s persistent writer the ultimate rejection.
Beverly Hills police say an ambitious screenwriter visited the office of a literary agent at 468 Camden Drive Thursday morning. He left the briefcase, which contained the script on a computer, with instructions for it to be delivered to the agent. The agent said he didn’t ask for it nor did he want the script and asked a security guard to take it away, officials said.
The guard then took the case to an alley behind the office building and called police, officials said. Police brought in the bomb squad and evacuated area businesses, including boutiques on posh Rodeo Drive.
A bomb squad robot later blew up the briefcase and the computer containing the screenplay, police said.

I'm slightly jealous. All my screenplays get rejected the boring way. And of course, this is gonna end up being a movie.
