"I came in really wanting to make a record that was different from anything I'd done in the past, but that was true to my influences: Stevie Wonder, Prince, Bee Gees," he told TIME. "And then, more recently, The Weeknd and Frank Ocean. That whole vibe of alternative R&B/pop. It just fell into a really natural place really early"
Little details are known about the project, but Nick has confirmed that there will be a very special collaboration featured on the album along with Demi Lovato.
He said: We did one for my record. It’s a great song that we both love. Her voice is just amazing on it. She’s the real deal. It’s the perfect fit for this record.

I'm so excited for this. I really think he has a chance to do well if Jealous becomes a hit. He'll be promoting and everyone says it's so good so I have faith.
Yes finally! Nick by himself, no bros, no fake band that doesn't do anything. He deserves all the success coming his way this time around.
