Every artist has their mistakes in their discography, when it comes to single releases, album covers, promo set-up, anything that directly relates to a specific era of your favorite artist. What are some things did they do that you wish they didn't?
Rihanna: Not releasing Fire Bomb. Releasing Russian Roulette as the lead single instead of Rude Boy or Hard. Releasing Raining Men and doing so like a ****ing sloppy MESS; no promotion at all, no music video... hell, we didn't even get an album cover.
Love the song, but it's not major smash material; it could've easily hit top 10 though if released properly, but no. Rih's team had to assume that it'd smash by itself.
Lady Gaga: Making Alejandro's music video so damn obnoxious. Causing conflict with Joseph Kahn so the music video was stripped down to the bare bone and having no real substance.
Adele: With a modest
19 era and a smashing
21 era that somehow is slaying at the moment independently in each country she's in with unique single releases, just keep up the good work Adele.
You seriously couldn't do anything better this era, with minimal promo in a lot of countries.
Ke$ha: Not releasing Blind or The Harold Song.
The **** are you thinking, Ke$ha? Not making Cannibal a whole album and promoting it better. Making that awful song "C U Next Tuesday" exist. SMH, Ke$ha. SMH.
Nicki Minaj: Massive Attack, but she corrected that mistake quickly by not putting it on Pink Friday.
But to be honest, she's had a really good era. Even Did It On Em did decent as just a radio single. Her Pink Friday peaks have been: 14, 24, 26, 13, 49 (Did It On Em), and 8. I do have to say that Did It On Em shouldn't have been released, cause it being censored on radio just sounds like a mess and "Man, I just ******* on em" >>>> "Man, I just did it on em."
