I'm starting to get really really pissed off at the 'Rate the TRL Retired Video' game. Christina Aguilera currently holds 4 of the top 5 spots, with at least 3 more videos to go. Now, is it just me, or is this a bit biased? I mean, Christina was good, but not
that good. Admittedly, Fighter was a kick-ass video and probably her best, and Come On Over Baby was a pretty cool idea, but Genie in a Bottle was a stereotypical pop-princess video, complete with singing in a random location all alone, a group choreographed dance with shirtless male and understated-*****-like female dancers, and an attempt at a plot. Honestly, the VIDEO alone does not warrant an 8.11. But who cares, its just a game, right
.
To end it off [ugh], here we have another lovely mediocre song written by me. Hoo. Ray.
Breaking Up is Hard To Do
Five hours till sunrise comes
Eight hours till I watch you cry
I know that we both are done
Still wanna give it one more try
Your words shoot bullets through
Rip my body and soul apart
Take aim and please make it true
'Lest you miss and don't break my heart
Smoldering stars start explosively ending
The end of my old life is only beginning
You're all of my love, but you're part of the problem
So please fade away as I now try to solve them
I can see that you're hurting now
I know that our love's burned out
I can't help but keep thinking how
I can help you before I have my doubts
Do you really need to scream?
This train wreck has no relief
Soon we'll wish this was just a dream
I'll feel better when you finally leave
Smoldering stars start explosively ending
The end of my old life is only beginning
You're all of my love, but you're part of the problem
So please fade away as I now try to solve them
This really has run aground
This ignorance clouds my ming
Just leave now without a sound
I'm leaving this love behind
Smoldering stars start explosively ending
The end of my old life is only beginning
You're all of my love, but you're part of the problem
So please fade away as I now try to solve them
