Well, now that I live in New Orleans, I usually watch the Weather Channel. So, of course, when Tropical Storm Humberto formed in the Gulf Coast today, that's all I heard about. I would like to know who exactly names these storms. Honestly, if they wanted to be ignorant, they could just hire me. How's Hurricane Passian sound, people? Tropical Storm Lustus? Timanda? Krzchersky???

But anyways, for my first blog ever, I'll close with a song [how incredibly boring and stereotypical] that I wrote a long time ago. My first stab at songwriting, so it's not very good.

Anyway, interesting song. As for the hurricane names, I always thought they were alphabetical/random? Either way, go for it, maybe you could be more creative?

I'm starting to get really really pissed off at the 'Rate the TRL Retired Video' game. Christina Aguilera currently holds 4 of the top 5 spots, with at least 3 more videos to go. Now, is it just me, or is this a bit biased? I mean, Christina was good, but not that good. Admittedly, Fighter was a kick-ass video and probably her best, and Come On Over Baby was a pretty cool idea, but Genie in a Bottle was a stereotypical pop-princess video, complete with singing in a random location all alone, a group choreographed dance with shirtless male and understated-*****-like female dancers, and an attempt at a plot. Honestly, the VIDEO alone does not warrant an 8.11. But who cares, its just a game, right .

Does anyone here read Questionable Content? It is a web-comic almost 1000 strips strong, and I would highly recommend it to anyone ignorant to its awesomeness. It follows the story of Marten, Faye, Steve [though not as much], and later Dora, Raven, Hannelore, and a colorful cast of Anthro-PC's including Marten's adorably misguided Pintsize. Other webcomics worth looking into: xkcd, which is also very very funny [though some of the jokes you might not understand] and Cyanide and Happiness, which I only just discovered yesterday, but which is also very funny. Do any of you have web-comics that you love? Feel free to share.

On a more disturbing note, I found out yesterday from a classmate that one of my teachers [he's fairly young] has a Myspace. Of course, I thought she was lying until I saw it for myself. He's holding a really small baby in his picture. I feel really uncomfortable...but he's a pretty cool teacher, so whatever.

Yes, well, no one really likes me enough to post here except for JerseyBoy, who is now certified awesome. Since I found another song that I had written a while ago, I'll just post it. This was about a story I had thought of, where a boy at first feels hostile towards a girl who is basically an outcast like him. Eventually, the two realize they are in the same boat and join forces against their actual enemy. I'm not really sure if I'm getting any better at this or not.

I am getting really really pissed at all these retards running amok on the forums. There should be a new study out soon that half of all human beings have sucky-ass taste in music. And also, some people seem to be unable to distinguish MUSIC VIDEO from SONG. Once again, this blog is going to rant about the Rate the Retired TRL Video game.
