Pop singer PINK regrets staging a circus-themed show for her ongoing world tour - because she's been plagued by comparisons to BRITNEY SPEARS.
The So What hitmaker is taking her Funhouse world tour Stateside this summer (09) and has been bombarded by critics accusing her of copying Spears - who launched her own Circus tour in the U.S. in March (09).
Both singers based their themes on the title of their latest albums and feature high-flying dancers, acrobats and wild acts in their stage shows.
But Pink, whose album debuted last year (08) just weeks before Spears' release, insists she was oblivious to the trend.
She says, "Had I known that certain other people were going to base their latest thing about circus things, I probably would have went into another direction. I was six months before that and didn't really understand that it was a trend that was happening. I'm pretty out of the loop."
As far as I've seen, P!nk has made the most of this theme.

people should understand that there are no unused themes anymore, so every theme will repeat some other artist. its all about how good you are doing that certain thing and no one can f*ck with P!nk in doing this carnival themed show.

Britney has an album called Circus, P!nk has an album called Funhouse, it was only natural they'd do circus / carnival themed videos / performances / photoshoots / tours, Cristina fans still don't understand that Aggie only did a circus section on her flop tour, these are full tours with the theme.
Now, Britney did a Marilyn Monroe photoshoot in 2004, does that mean Xtina based her whole Back To Boredom era in that? I'm sure you wouldn't say that, Manu get real.

yes all of them did circus theme after Xtina, because Xtina did it in 2006 and they are doing it in 2009. 2009 is after 2006, so they are doing it AFTER. But it doesn't mean that they are doing it BECAUSE of Xtina. I'm sure none of them really knew that Xtina had the album out so recently.

Christina used the circus theme for the disc 2 thats why the first songs is called "Enter the Circus" of the album and also see Hurt video. and about the Marilin Monroe thing Christina did that back in 2002 aswell she always been a fan of hers. look at her 2002 grammy look.
im not saying they coppied her but she did use it before it got popular.
