Um well if I have to give you advice, I would say that it's all up to you. It's not that you are going to follow a religion because you like what they do or because it's popular or is the religion most of your friends profess. It's all in your believes, thoughts, heart and faith.

To answer this question, yes I do. I'm not pious or anything though. Just a normal ol' catholic.
I'm sure everyone has had their moment of skepticism. And I have absolutely NOTHING against atheists. My brother is one, a lot of my friends are, and that doesn't change who they are as people. Me however, I'm just a regular believer.
