Is this a stereotype or is it really true. Is really America, the land of obesity or people are using this to bring its image down. I mean people often associate Americans with being fat and not so smart. Is this wrong or true? Is it because of their lifestyle? What can be done to improve this, if it is false .
I've read that the obesity rates in the UK are as bad, if not worse. But the only thing that can be done is better health education and regulating food costs. Poorer demographics are forced to buy fast food because organic food companies know they can get away with charging more. I know America is capitalist and all, but they need to monitor that stuff better.
If we weren't so smart then why are we one of the top countries and invented so many things and army weapons. I have only seen a few people that are fat when I go outside. Many people I see jog or ride their bikes to work every morning. But that's just been the areas I been to.
I don't like that people like to blame people with fast food addictions so hard. These companies put a lot of effort into making sure that you become addicted by putting certain ingredients in there. It's not all their fault.
I guess some people just choose to have a negative view of the US? There are lots of negative generalizations made about us like we're fat, stupid, and ignorant and obviously in a land of 300 million+ with many different cultures that's not always going to be true. People gonna believe what they wanna believe.

This so much. I bought a bag of almonds the other day for $7. I could have fed my whole family with that much money at mcdonalds. Ridiculous.
