1. Rihanna will re-release Loud, and have TWO more No.1 singles on the Hot 100.
We need a break from Rihanna.
2. The lead single from Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream re-release will go No.1, and she will win a Grammy.
Possible.
3. Ke$ha will release her sophomore album and get her third No.1 single.
Also possible. And I will have the radio permanently switched off accordingly..
4. We will see more male artists on the charts next year than we did in 2010.
Hopefully they're not all Taio Derulo clones.
5. Alexandra Burke will NOT crack the US, and Leona Lewis won’t have much success outside of the UK.
Nothing new here.
6. Rock and indie music will start to make a small comeback, and it’s presence will be felt on the Billboard 200.
With Muse leading the charge.
7. Adele’s sophomore album ’21′ will be very successful.
8. Duffy’s Endlessly will remain a total flop, and she’ll start work on her next studio album.
Either way, no one cares.
9. Miley Cyrus will take time off music and focus on acting, but she will release a soundtrack single at some point.
I guess.
10. K-Pop will continue to grow in popularity.
Ok.
11. Britney Spears’ new album and single will both debut at No.1
And the sky is blue.
12. Beyonce will specifically time the release of her next album to ensure that she won’t be competing against any other major pop releases: It’ll be very successful, due partly to a relentless promotional schedule.
I detect subtle shade.
13. Lady GaGa will suffer a temporary backlash from being overexposed, and the divide between her lovers and haters will grow even wider.
She'll be fine.
14. Beyonce and Lady GaGa’s new albums will both be more successful than Britney’s in the long run, as Britney won’t put in the same heavy promotion that those two will.
Hard work gets results.
15. Musically speaking, Britney’s album will be better than both GaGa and Beyonce’s.
A Britney stan wrote this.
16. Kelly Rowland won’t be successful in the US.
Some things never change.
17. Ashanti, Ashlee Simpson, and Amerie will all flop.
I'd hardly call this a prediction. It's basically already set in stone.
18. No Doubt will make a huge comeback.
No doubt. (sorry )
19. Following in the footsteps of Far East Movement and Charice, more Asian artists will appear on the Billboard charts.
I didn't see Charice on any Billboard charts...
20. 2NE1 will chart a single on the Hot 100.
Who?
21. Jessica Simpson will try and reinvent herself as a mature Adult Contemporary artist, with a string of cheesy ballads and piano-based pop that focus primarily on her vocals. She’ll flop, but her fashion empire and tabloid popularity will keep her relevant.
Successica Legendson will always be relevant.
22. Avril Lavigne will have problems with her comeback because her new single “What the Hell” won’t reflect the sound of the rest of her album, and there won’t be enough hit singles to sustain the album in the long run.
I'm sure her 2 stans will buy it at least.
23. Tool, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Radiohead will all debut at No.1 with their new albums.
We can only hope.
24. Fergie will announce plans for a sophomore solo album.
God help us.
25. Taylor Swift’s world tour will massive, and will establish her as a viable touring artist.
I'm happy as long as I don't have to hear her.
26. Jennifer Lopez will briefly chart a song on the Hot 100 off the back of American Idol, but her album will flop.
Aw. Bless her.
27. Mariah Carey will continue working on products like her perfume, and will try to build her brand by launching something new.
Meh.
28. Beyonce will continue to build her empire with more business ventures. Her net worth will increase, but more scandals regarding her songwriting and other behind-the-scenes drama involving herself and her father will surface.
Again, shady.
29. Natasha Bedingfield will disappear forever, just like her brother did before her.
She has a brother?
30. Dolly Parton will have a very successful year, which will continue over into 2012.
I don't even know what she does these days but all right.
31. Paris Hilton, Heidi Montag and Lindsay Lohan will not release new albums, and Kim Kardashian will become the official talentless pop trash diva of 2011.
Should be fun.
