TBH I rarely look in PYP. But I did recently have a random browse through some older pages which I stumbled upon looking for something else. I couldn't help get the feeling that some pics may be fake(I know, youre shocked). No names but this is something Ive seen before on other forums and it seems a common problem on forums.

Its easy to just see this as harmless and a sign of insecurity etc. But there's other issues here particularly concerning identity theft. I really dont think members should be using somebodies elses face as their own. It's just wrong and disrespectful to the owner of those images..many of which are of a personal(not private) nature. Plus further more I dont think you should mislead the rest of the forum with fake imagery. Nobodies wants to be drooling over fake pics of somebody thats not even you.

Other forums do require some kind of verification for posted pictures. Usually holding up a sign with username and date on. Of course, these are not photoshop proof but theyre still generally effective in putting off the fakers.

So..should such a verification rule be applied at ATRL?

Everyone should be required to take a picture with their copy of Biophilia.

why not its easy to do if you have a webcam, camera, phone etc? How would you feel if your pics were stolen and used by some complete douche on another forum? He could be like the biggest c**t on that forum and he's pretending to be your face. Not nice.
