I give this an 7, I found it to be a little overrated, but having seen the 2nd Pirates movie last night, I have some gained respect for the 1st.

It was alright, a fun time at a few points, and Depp is awesome, but the sequel was loads more fun.

5. I didn't like the 2nd one either although it was a little better. Bloom & Knightly killed it for me.

Yeah, but this past yr. my friends turned me off of Kiera. I never used to mind her until I realized how unattractive she was. & when she was trying to seduce Depp it was totally not believable. & since the first one, Bloom has made more movies i.e. gave me more reasons to hate him. See in LOTR, they didn't give him that many lines so people wouldn't notice how annoying he was. He's almost as bad an actor as Hayden Christensen. Although Depp was good in it, his co-stars were too bad for me.

8/10 - I thought the action scenes were pretty entertaining and it also provided a few laughs.

7.5 it was alright i did the Johnny Depp Parts.i luv Keira.she looks beautiful in the movie.
