1. Christina has an incredible voice, but I wouldn't call it the voice of this generation. That title is based purley on opinion.

2. There's no doubting her impact on the industry & she has has an incredible career. The way she took charge is very admirable.

3. Again, the titles "Icon" & "Legend" are purley based on opinion. I do think she will go down in history for her amazing voice & classic hits. She's an icon in her own right, for Women & for Gay-culture.

4. I think the Britney VS Christina thing is something the media pushed & pushed, but had no real basis. They may have shared a similair past \ journey, but they're two very different people. Proffessionally & Personally - they just work differently. I never understood the comparisons.

5. I hope so. I loved Bionic & she deserves to be successful, she works really hard on her projects.

I'd just like to add though, as much I love Christina, she's gotta tone down the bitchy attitude. I realise her troubled past has shaped her out-spoken persona, but that's what caused her to crash & burn during the Bionic era. All the hate & negativity she put out eventually came back to bite her... I just hope she's learned her lesson.

She's Not Overrated At All, She Does have Amazing powerful voice, but not of this generation, and its not cause of her voice or overrated states its for her bad robot vocals..

hate to say this but no in 1999 - 2003 she really did, but after Candyman which was a fanstastic song
she really started to flop i love Keeps Getting Better And Not Myself Tonight Love it, but sadly she didnt make a big impact but thats cause ppl have no taste.

I hope So, She needs to bring her power back. she needs to get that Candy Man And Genie In The Bottle Music Back dont do what everyone else is doing makes you bad.

1) I don't think she is an overrated singer. I believe she is one of the artists that has the voice of this generation. There are others as well She has an incredible voice, but like Katie stated, those too young may underrate her voice. However, I really enjoyed the Back to Basics era. That really showed me her powerful vocals.

2) Genie in a Bottle, Beautiful, Fighter... etc. Yes.

3) I would go with Icon.

5) I think it is possible. She is great with ballads. Castle Walls gives me hope. I wish her the best.

I don't think she's the 'Voice' of this generation, but she does have an amazing voice, probably one of the best currently around atm. This generation doesn't have a 'voice' because we are not about power vocals and intense ballads anymore. This generation is more about unique sounds and uptempo songs.

Yes, she did make an impact on the music industry. The pop scene wasn't so big just because of Britney alone. One of the biggest and greatest parts of that time being so memorable and impacting was because it was all about Britney vs. Christina. With her first 3 songs going #1, Beautiful, Lady Marmalade, how can you not say she's made an impact? It's just unfortunate she hasn't made any impact in the past few years.

Neither. Ask again in 10 more years and I'll give an answer.

Yes, and she always will be. She's blonde pop artist who came out around the same time Britney did. Same reason every black artist is considered to be in Beyonce's shadow, or how Beyonce is in Tina's shadow.

You can't say for sure. Mariah did it. Once Christina realizes who she is and stops becoming so desperate or something she's not, she has the potential of being just as big as she once was.
