Last week, 30-year-old Brody Ryan made a now-infamous romantic blunder when he sent an Instagram video of himself to 20-year-old Piper Kennedy, a model he met in a Starbucks. Apparently trying to play coy, Ryan recorded himself brushing his fingers seductively against his brow while flashing a shy smile. Naturally, Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” was playing in the background.
As one might imagine, Ryan did not successfully woo the girl. Instead, Kennedy passed the selfie along to a couple of friends, who posted it online. And that’s where Ryan became known as the inventor of the “StarbucksDrakeHands” move.
