- Tate Stevens won the second season of The X Factor, and I'm sure Simon was looking for a POP star to win, not a country singer.
- Haley Reinhart placed third behind Scotty and Lauren, making for a complete country finale.
- Cassadee Pope's crossover to country music on The Voice might have helped her win (to our advantage), but I wonder if she still would have won if Blake didn't get country side out.
- Lakoda Rayne was the only group safe from Paula's team on the first season of the X Factor during the Top 12 week, and they were the only group left remaining before they were eliminated in 9th place.
People seem to always vote for them in America. Weirdly enough.
Do you think it ruins X Factor and American Idol because they take away from acts that deserve the winning spot more (Carly or Haley for example?)

To an extent yeah . For example Carly should have won xfactor she was by far the most talented. They should make country idol
