Yes, but the title was changed.
Now that iTunes is adding more countries, these records don't hold much merit because they're erased the moment a new country is added.
Technically Gaga's record was #1 in every iTunes country, but it still wouldn't be fair to compare because Bieber would have to go #1 in more countries since there's more now.
No one is trying to discredit Bieber or Madonna's accomplishment. This is massive and great for them, but to say they beat Gaga's record is wrong and unfair and is why Monsters are saying something.
He getting that WORLDWIDE appeal
