Okay, so here's how it goes. I am going to list my top 10 best and top 10 worst songs of the year, and I tried to limit it to one song per artist. I will be counting down the songs in such a way where I will begin with #10 and will include the 10th best song of the year and 10th worst song of the year. I will end with the best song of the year and the worst song of the year. You'll see as I go along. Enjoy.

Rihanna - Unfaithful
I am not even going to lie. I usually can't stand the bitch. She can't sing and that forehead is beyond enormous. In fact, "Unfaithful" wasn't even a great vocal performance. But there was something about the song that attracted me to it. It is indeed my guilty pleasure of the year. I used to like it way more, but now it's outplayed, so this is why it's at #10.


The "Worst" List

Nickelback - Far Away
Nickelback couldn't make a "different" song to save their lives. This overrated piece of **** unfortunately went to the top 10 on Billboard, but shouldn't have even been anywhere near the top 100. Nickelback seriously makes songs that you like after one play and then just can't stand it every other time it comes on. The whole band really needs to be hit by a truck, and they need to bring Hinder and anyone else who sounds like them with them.

Shakira - Hips Don't Lie
There is no denying that this is just a fun song. It's fun to hear, fun to dance (or try) to, and just overall fun...nothing more you can say. Although quite outplayed now, this is still enough to be #09 on the year end list!

Hilary Duff - Play With Fire
Seriously, what the f*ck is she doing? This song is GOD awful and she looks like absolute **** in that absolutely ****** video. Her music career is done if she continues to make **** like this. It's sad when Ron Artest and Kevin Federline had bigger years in music.

The Fray - How To Save A Life
The Fray is definitely one of the breakout bands of the year and they definitely deserve it. With hits like "Over My Head" and this one at #08, there is no reason why they shouldn't be given the recognition they deserve. I remember falling in love with this song back when I heard it at the end of May and still have not grown tired of it. It is just an emotional song that I can easily identify with.

Teddy Geiger - For You I Will (Confidence)
Let me just begin by saying his name is Teddy. Enough said. Punishment enough! Anyway, I never even knew who this little f'cker was until I was watching TRL one day and they were kissing his ass for like a week straight and I couldn't figure out why, and then I realized it - he sold out before he could even get his foot in the door - he put that evil, disgusting, pathetic little ***** Kristen from Laguna Beach in his video. Sure, she may be HOT but what a ***** move. The almost equally as bad "These Walls" only increased my hatred for him. I hope he and Jesse McCartney contract AIDs from one another and disappear from the face of the earth. For real.

For real. For You I Will is soo bad.

Nickelback, Hillary Duff, and Teddy Geiger all suck!!! Plus its nice to see The Fray at number 8.

Justin Timberlake - SexyBack
I'll admit it, when I first heard this I was like wtf? And it's true, this song DOES take a few listens. But once you've gotten through those first few listens, you're hooked. This is one of the most catchiest songs of the year and much like "Hips Don't Lie," it's just fun to listen to. Definitely not his best work, but definitely a strong and unique effort from Mr. Timberlake.

Eminem f/ 50 Cent - You Don't Know
If there are two artists that I regret ever liking, it's Eminem and 50 Cent. I can tell Eminem is a good man but the stuff he calls music that he's been making lately has really sucked. His last decent single was "Like Toy Soldiers" and even that wasn't great. Regarding 50 Cent, now that I am older, I now realize that 50 Cent is one of the worst and overrated rappers ever. And did any of you catch when The Game was dissing 50, Banks, and the rest of G-Unit on the Wendy Williams Experience? It was priceless! This song really does suck, thank God it flopped on radio and thank God even more that this ridiculous album didn't debut at #1! All hail Ciara!

Beyonce - Irreplaceable
"To the left, to the left...everything you own in the box to the left." Ah, so great. Beyonce really came around with this one. My anticipation for her album this year was shot down by "Deja Vu" and "Ring the Alarm." They are both good songs, but nowhere near the greatness that is "Crazy In Love" and "Baby Boy." But then she goes and releases this masterpiece. This song really got me hooked on Beyonce again, she is definitely here to stay with this one!

Jonas Brothers - Mandy
WTF?! Just look at them. That is all I have to say.

Nelly Furtado - Say It Right
I've only known about this song for like 2 months, but it still is enough for it to be #5 on my best list. This song is absolutely amazing. I don't know how to describe it. It is so different from anything else out there. Nelly took a risk with this one and it worked. Great job, Nelly!

Lil' Jon - Snap Yo Fingers
Lil' Jon is by far one of the most annoying "artists" in the industry. This song is just as bad if not worse than all of his other efforts before (see "Get Low," "What U Gon' Do," etc.). And let's talk about that video. One of the cheapest videos I've ever seen. For real. It makes Avril Lavigne's videos look like multi-million dollar productions. Truly one of the ugliest and ear-bleeding "artists" out there.

04.Nick Lachey - What's Left of Me
For some reason I think that people here don't really like his music that much. I really don't mind it though. I do agree that his album as a whole can be a borefest, but this song is great. One of the best pop songs of the year for sure, and that is why it is #04 on my list.

03.Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away
People here love Kelly, but not this song and I don't know why, because I really do! Anyway, Kelly continues to prove that she is a threat in the music industry, and this song is no exception, peaking within the top 20 of the Hot 100. I agree the music video is a little cheesy, but it doesn't take away from the song. Great job, Kelly!

02.JoJo - Too Little Too Late
This one seriously came out of nowhere. I didn't even know JoJo was coming out with another album this year, and then I was like oh well, should be an okay song...but then when I heard it, I was like DAMN! THIS ISH IS HOT! The girl is only 16 and she can sing better than most of those "pop" stars that are years older than her. JoJo is definitely here to stay, and this hit proves it!

04.UNK - Walk It Out
That "dance" is almost as bad as the song. I don't know what they are doing in the video, it is just indescribable. Once again, a song about a dance that gives shout-outs to all parts of the country, no wonder it's so bad!

03.D4L - Laffy Taffy
For some reason (I can't remember), I think this was on my list as one of the worst songs of 2005, but I guess it carried over into this year and yes, is enough to be #03 on the worst list of '06. This song is beyond retarded. Naming body parts after Wonka candy! WTF?!?! So tacky! Unfortunately this went to #1 on the Hot 100, but the good part is that these fools haven't really been seen since then. YES!

02.Xzibit - Concentrate
This one and #01 were seriously neck and neck for that top spot. And you're probably getting an idea that I don't like hip-hop. Well you're wrong. I do, just not the kind that sucks, like this. Not many people know of this song because, well...it flopped miserably! AND THANK GOD! Xzibit's music career is about as productive as the Bush Administration. This song's "lyrics" and his voice are just disgusting. Xzibit should seriously stick to Pimp My Ride...wait, does that even air anymore? (MTV2 DOES NOT COUNT!)
