Christina obviously. Both tried to jump on the dance music bandwagon but one experimented with other sounds while the other just ran to the "in" producer

Pretty much.
I love how the criticism is always "Britney isn't involved in her music" and now suddenly she "ran to the producer".

Again...how can someone jump on a bandwagon when they were already doing that type of music BEFORE it was even a trend?

Britney didn't 'run' to anyone because AGAIN she worked with Dr.Luke BEFORE any of these other girls did and he became the 'go to' producer.

Before tik tok, california gurls, teenage dream, etc:
It's no different than if Diplo suddenly became the 'IN' producer and beyonce worked with him for her next album, and despite her already working with him, people saying she 'ran to him' or 'jumped on the trend'...

Britney's been working with Dr. Luke since Blackout, which was 5 years ago.
Bionic was very risky -- one of only a few albums to produce an absurd amount of filler, non-cohesive tracks and either over or under produced songs.
Femme Fatale experimented with dubstep, and bringing that to the forefront of mainstream music. Songs like "How I Roll" were just un-heard of outside of Robyn's catalog.
Neither was "risky" - but of the two, Femme Fatale took more risks.
