I can see why she feels that way, though. She's idolized Destiny's Child and Beyoncé her entire life, and to see Beyoncé become so successful as a "yellow-boned" woman may make her want to bleach her skin. It's unfortunate, but there is colorism in the black community.
There are musicians with far less exposure and fan following than her that never give up on their dreams.
