Anyway Drake has something that NONE of those flop one-hit wonder "black guys" had. REAL talent. He's been building buzz for a long time. Plus several huge record labels offering as much as $2 million for a recording contract. He's even considering going independent after all that. I don't understand how people who admit to not knowing anything about Drake other than "Best I Ever Had" can be so sure of themselves.
I'm not even a fan of Drake like that, but when I heard some stuff from
his mixtape "So Far Gone" I was impressed.
Bobby's comment is fair I guess. I can speak for myself though because I don't listen to "BIEH" because it's trashy or vulgar. I only listen to the clean version. He has some clever lyrics, the beat is decent and it's catchy.
This reminds me of when Katy Perry/Lady Gaga came out and I called them one-hit wonders. I thought Katy Perry's gimmick was the **** thing and Lady Gaga's was her ~weirdness~. I was so wrong.
