I don't. I only do if they are very nice,kind and on top of their ****. All they have to do is give me one rude remark and im not leaving them ****. You have to work for your money,and they better do that if they want that tip from me.

It might not be "your fault" someone doesn't make minimum wage, but you should have some sense of sympathy for that situation and have a desire to help them out if they're doing they're job well and act kindly toward you.

That's what I hate about being in the US, as a European I just see a price and go with it, but I don't realise I have to tip basically everything as long as it aren't clothes

How do you not understand the concept of tipping?

Well if you don't work at restaurant, you won't understand. We get paid $2.13 and hour to serve guests,clean the restaurant, sell a certain amount of food/alcohol, and other stuff. Its common courtesy and it's just how it works. Yes it's my job, but that's the only way we make money.

Unless I desperately need the change or I forget, I'll give the tip. I don't see the issue.
