Have a look at the Sony Xperia Z or Moto X as well.

The Sony one is water resistant - which is a big plus - and the camera is amazing (13mpx)

The reviews have said the camera is basic.

I have a Nexus 4 and it's definitely one of the best smartphones out there at the moment.

If you're going to get an xperia, wait for the xperia i1 honami.

Samsung Focus Flash is an ancient device running Windows Phone 7 which has a piss poor app selection compared to WP8. Windows Phone 7 is horribly outdated and runs a completely different architecture vs Windows Phone 8 (and its soon-to-be successors).

I've really not had much issue with the apps on Windows Phone 8. We now have an officially sanctioned (and fully featured, including video) Instagram app, a Vine app, Snapchat app, etc.

The G2 revealed today looks AMAZING, and if Google follows up like last year, the next Nexus should be revealed with the same specs as the G2 and Android 5.0 in about 3 months, and that would SLAYY

Only getting the Note 3 if it isn't plastic and if the Nexus 5 has a screen smaller than 5.2 inches. The ability to have fast android updates is just too good to pass up

Meanwhile, my Note 2 is still flawless. So I'm not in a hurry

Oh right.. and then there's that Xperia Z follow-up coming too...

Smartphones are great. I would never be able to use a regular map to find my way around.

Oh and I have the S3. Might upgrade later this year, unless the S5 is already coming out next year.
