'The Voice' Lisa Sends Demo to Avril - Gets Rejected
Lisa Scinta from 'The Voice' (On Christina's team I think) sent the following Demo 'Choke on It' to Avril's camp for her new album. The song was rejected stating that Avril writes her own songs and doesn't accept 'outside songs'.
But if she was lying why would she say Avril to get attention? No one is here for Avril! Not your stan goggles still thinking Avril sells 16 million albums per cycle. If she wanted attention she woulda said Gaga, Katy, Kelly, Taylor etc. Not Avril!

She'll easily be accused as a liar when she uses big names and especially the song was so Avril-ish/Pink-ish, that's why.
What is so farfetched about it? Has Avril ever accepted a pre-written song before?
Kind of, just a few lines from the beginning of My Happy Ending, but all she really took was the lyrics. They redid the instrumentation/melody when they finished the song

She took My Happy Ending unfinished from Butch Walker, it was a song that was shelved because no one could write a chorus for it. Avril took it and wrote a chorus to it and recorded it.
That is the only song revealed that Avril ever took without starting to write it from scratch.
