The challenges look fine, I think it emulates the US version extremely well. It has a nice feel and I'm throughly enjoying this season. As good as some of my top 10 favourite US seasons, obviously with a few exceptions. At first I thought the extra time and contestants would be a bad thing, but the best thing about the Aus version is the 3 episodes a week. I'm loving it rn.
So far I think it's been pretty great actually. It doesn't feel like you're watching some B-grade, half-baked rip off, it feels like actual Survivor. I'm interested to see how they're going to last the extended duration though...
That joint tribal council with Vavau and Saanapu was SUCH a mess. My family were screaming throughout the whole thing.
Oh good, I'm not the only one rooting for Kat. She was done dirty by Aganoa, hopefully she can pick them off one by one, starting with Rohan and Phoebe.

Can she swing past Saanapu and take out Flick as well?

Nah, Phoebe can stay and go the distance. She's my favorite one for sure.
Also, Sue is such a surprise for me because she's such a lowkey great character.
Just finished ep 2, absolutely loving it. It's like the US version but without the cringeworthy stereotypical characters, the over the top camera whoring, and Jeff (who can be annoying).
I'm rooting for Sam and Conner, first and foremost, but also Flick, Brooke, Kylie, Lee, Rohan, and Nick. So many likable people!
I wanted to watch this because I absolutely loved BBAUS until I saw the cast was huge and I thought it would last forever taking away too much from my free time, which is not much. Is this fast-paced? Is it worth it?
