Top 20 Singles

#20-Adele-Skyfall



It took a few listens but I grew to really love this song. The lyrics are great and it really suited the movie IMO. I also liked how it incorporated the James Bond theme. One of Adele's best I think.

#19 David Guetta ft Sia-She Wolf (Falling To Piece)



I really liked this song. It's the best song David Guetta has made in years and I think Sia has a really unique and beautiful voice. She's a great lyricist something which is clearly evident in this song.

#18 Frank Ocean-Thinking About You



This song slayed me on 1st listen. Everything about this song is perfection from the lyrics to Franks impressive voice to the breezy production. It's just an awesome chill out song.

#17 Taylor Swift-We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together



This song was a huge change for Taylor Swift. It's easily her poppiest and most catchy song yet. The risk paid off as Taylor though as she released the most fun song of the year which is pop perfection and gave her HUGE success.

#16 Lana Del Rey-Born To Die



This song is really incredible. Lana's voice is haunting and it's one of her strongest singles lyrically. This song is beautiful and one of my faves off Born To Die.

#15 P!nk-Try



This is another great song by P!nk. Beautiful vocals, great lyrics and catchy production make this song another pop-rock gem.

#14 Fun. ft Janelle Monae-We Are Young



This was one of the biggest breakout singles of 2012 and rightly so. It's epic and really stood out in todays dance driven charts

#13 Jake Bugg-Lightning Bolt



I fell in love with Jake Bugg this year and this is just one of the reasons why. This song is flawless. With it's clever lyrics and unique vocals this song is one of my fave singles from 2012.

#12 Taylor Swift-Begin Again



This song really struck me on the 1st listen. Taylor went back to her country(ish) routes for this ballad. She proves herself once again as one of the best lyricists of our generation and you can really hear the emotion in her voice. It's another brilliant single from the Lord.

#11 Drake featuring Rihanna-Take Care



This was one of my favourite songs from Drakes album. Rihanna and Drake have great chemistry on this track and it results in one of the best collaborations this year. The breakdown is epic too.
