Only the basics. The stuff we'll actually use in life. And those who want a career that involves advance math should be put in a separate class to go further in Math.

You need math for just about everything. It was never one of my favorite subjects, but it's necessary.

I loved it in high school. Advanced functions and calculus was my thing! But then when it got into proofs and advanced calculus in University, NO THANK YOU! Especially proofs

Yes. I dont know about your school, but in mine you can choose the difficulty of math and you only to take it for three years. I don't see how anyone can pass on free education.

Everything should be taught, especially if the expectation is that you will go off to college. You can't know in High School what you're going to do for the rest of your life

I don't understand what people mean when they say only the things we "use" in our lives. What do you *USE* in History? Science?

Maths actually teaches people HOW to do things, rather than relaying facts. Maths really teaches you how to think, and lazy people don't like that.

Yes, math is used everyday in life. Children need to be taught it, the last thing we need is brainless adults not knowing how to count their money, or know the amount of ingredients to put in their food.
