I think it'll be okay. There are countries which are like 90%+ muslim that have them banned (or did in the past).

Whats even more disrespectful to their religion is ISIS using the religion as an excuse to commit crimes in the name of God which unfortunately means for the safety of everyone INCLUDING the women themselves that no ones face should be hidden especially at times when terrorism is at high level. Its time to start being selfish when masses of lives can be at risk including yours and mine.

But no one force them to wear it. You never saw a muslim woman without Hijab?

What would happen to a woman wearing a pantsuit and colorful make up in Saudi Arabia or Syria...?

but those garments are not religious, there is not nothing about them in the Koran? it's just a way to oppress women tbh... yes they can choose but often they are forced by the husbands/brothers/fathers or just afraid or ashamed

i find these garments barbaric tbh

So disrespectful, niqabs and burqas are not always signs of oppression. A friend of mine used to wear a niqab and she said it empowered her because she felt like she didn't need to adhere to western beauty standards anymore

When women are the ones who choose to wear them I believe it's 100% okay but if it's actually forced you're right. It's just an exaggerated version of Hijab that was never mentioned in Quran.
