I remember 2008's first months: there were no gifs, nor ghetto/gay slang all over. No sis, no gwerl/gworl/gerl/gorl/gurl/gwurl and all of its variations.

All from sudden, it started.

ATRL is indeed a pop music forum (making logic that most of the gay teens listen to pop music, supposedly), but nowadays it also turned into a giant stan board full of gay guys, some of them with gender problems (no names are going to be given).

Let's discuss the relation that exists between stan and being gay, not only in ATRL, but generally. Why?

I've been a member since 2007 and Ive wondered the same thing. But stans in this thread are hilarious, so I stay amused.

It's a gay hook up site. The music aspect is just a front. I thought we all knew this.

I dont think sexuality has anything to do with stanning for an artist you support. Most of the artists we talk about on ATRL have a huge variety of stans- gay straight or bi LESBIAN TRANSGENDERED LIIIIFE BABY I WAS BORRRRN TO SURVIVEEE *cough* sorry that happens sometimes.

ATRL is just gay-friendly. Theres just as much gay people on other forums- its just they're scared to come out of the closet to people or be as OVIOUS about their sexuality as they are here- because other forums may not be as dominated by gays or may not be as friendly/accepting to them.

ATRL was always gay from what I remember. It's part of its charm, and the reason there's so much drama. What keeps ATRL so interesting is that it's absolutely nothing like the real world. Everything is dramatised.

Why haven't I gotten any action.

I don't have problem with it (except for the horny ones).

I'm just curious about this, it was really a change.

I don't deny that there have been gays in ATRL since its creation, but it was just like one year, all of them came as if it was a massive inmigration from a gay forum that was deleted.
