Let's face it, Ciara has been everywhere in 2015.
In music, her lead single "I Bet" jumped into to Top 50 on the Hot 100 when the video blew up the internet with over 50 million VEVO views and growing. The song has been certified Gold by the RIAA and helped solidify her nomination for Best Female R&B Singer at the 2015 BET Awards.
In fashion, Ciara has been named the face of Roberto Cavalli as well as the official ambassador for Top Shop. Two A-List fashion deals.
Her celebrity status has increased heavily. Her relationship with Future was a trending topic and still is today while her new relationship with Russell Wilson is considered to be A-List.
At the 2015 BET Awards, Nicki & Meek and Ciara & Russell took over the red carpet while Kelly, Brandy, etc. where all not even talked about in the press compared to Ciara.
Is it safe to say that Ciara is officially more relevant than all the R&B girls,
sans Beyoncé and Rihanna? She clearly is more talked about in the press way more than Kelly, Brandy, Keri, Ashanti, Tinashe, all of them.
Clearly Brandy and Ashanti were successful but they have not reached the longevity or celebrity statues that Ciara has.

it feels like all that she does to maintain relevance is for naught given that it doesn't seem to benefit her music career. Tamar, K. Michelle, Jhené, Brandy, Tinashe have all managed to parlay their smaller platforms into stronger sales than Ci -- I just don't get why she can't get it to click. It's weird.
