Last night, I saw "The Simpsons" and "Chuck and Larry."
"The Simpsons"
>>I was a fan from the beginning of the series. This movie made me love them all over again. I was entertained from beginning to end. The theatre died all movie long. This movie was surprisingly funny. I usually chuckle when I watch the series. I laughed out loud from beginning to end. I do believe that the PG-13 rating was warranted because there were a couple of things they did here that they couldn't do on FOX. I loved the self-depricating humor that was sprinkled throughout this movie. All characters had funny lines including Maggie. One of my favorite scenes is in the beginning where the Simpsons are in the theatre looking at the "Itchy & Scratchy" movie. Homer then says "why would I pay $10.00 (or money, don't remember) for something I can see for free on tv?" This got a huge reaction from the audience. If you haven't seen this yet, by all means, go see it!
"Chuck and Larry"
>>I don't know. I guess I expected more slapstick from Kevin James. I guess I forgot that he's not Doug, he was Larry. The movie all in all was good. Very heartwarming. A little sad in places, but overall funny. Favorite line: Rob Schnieder's "It's a circle." Rob actually scored some of the biggest laughs of the entire flick. This movie was good, but I liked "The Simpsons" better.
THE SIMPSONS MOVIE!! so amazing. After being a fan for its 18 season run, I was very impressed that they made an outstanding and flawless movie and did not make it seem like I was watching a regular episode on TV. If you don't laugh the whole time, something is wrong with you! Go see this movie ASAP!
I want to see these films...Hairspray is not even here and im gonna predict NEVER...The Simpsons...maybe next week...i dont have time to watch...but im dying to see these films...
