Quote:
1. Aaliyah - Katy B

27. Scare Me - Major Lazer
28. Hold On, We're Going Home - Drake
29. Secret To The End - Depeche Mode
30. Part Of Your World - Carly Rae Jepsen
I think 2014 was a slightly better year so this should be fun! lets do it!
50. A Sky Full Of Stars - Coldplay
Coldplay team up with avicci here for a pleasent euphoric dance track that never gets old A Bit sellout-y but Coldplay aren't exactly shy of the pop format so have at it lads.
49. Bang Bang - Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj
On Paper, this song is a disaster. Two vocal acrobatics show offs and a rent-a-rapper equates to a noisy over the top mess. But that mess is what makes it so endearing. One of the biggest diva-offs on a track in years, jessie comes on top with that massive final chorus.
48. Crying For No Reason - Katy B
While we were waiting for Robyn to return with her heartbreak on a dancetrack masterpieces, here came Kathleen to save us from this drought (Until Robyn dropped Do It Again ofc) The track is not new territory for katy, but still quite nice.
47. Boss Ass Bitch (Remix) - Nicki Minaj
Quite easily the best thing nicki has done all year (20 singles, videos, entire album etc.) included. Why she insists on putting her strongest efforts into throw away remixes is beyond me, but i'm not complaining, or maybe i am.
46. Slow Love - MØ
Months before hopping on the track with Iggy Iggz and embarrassing herself on SNL, MØ put out her fantastic long awaited debut. Which unfortunately is leading me to believe that iggz may have good taste in music (). Slow Love comes hard with its out of tune falsettos and icy synths that take you to a jungle-like atmosphere.
45. Fancy - Iggy Azalea f/ Charli XCX
Easily the best thing iggy has ever done, while charli very largely carries the track, iggy does manage some snazzy lines that are lots of fun, eyegeegeewhy in particular.
44. Dynasti - JJ
My friend hates this song because he hates songs that try to act grand~~. For that reason he despises things like Pink Floyd, the final countdown (the song) etc etc. But I'm the opposite, i luh that ****. The opening is so majestic and that first bridge ~~Cuz i wanna be with you when you lose controoool~~~~ is bliss.
43. Love Who Loves You Back - Tokio Hotel
I dont know why but i find the lead singer extremely attractive, especially in the video, mm papi is he gay? one of you guys confirm for me Oh yea the songs cute too
42. Take Me To Church - Hozier
Quite frankly its the video to the track that makes me as taken to it as i am, on its own the song is nice but not overly stellar. Its more than enough to make it on this list however. One of the most stunning visuals of 2014
41. Bell House - Tomas Barford f/ Luke Temple
This is how you keep a monotonous piano note while not being boring (poor say something). Luke (whoever he is) stellar vocal performance keeps you drawn in
