Drake's 'One Dance' No. 1 on Hot 100; Twenty One Pilots 'Ride' to Top 10
Quote:
As "Dance," released on Young Money/Cash Money/Republic Records, leads the Hot 100 for a seventh week (and sixth in a row), it earns a 10th week atop the subscription services-based On-Demand Songs streaming chart with 19.7 million on-demand U.S. plays (down 3 percent) in the week ending June 23, according to Nielsen Music. "Dance" rebounds 2-1 on Radio Songs for a second a week as the most heard song on U.S. radio, and marks a new best career audience week for Drake: 164 million in reach (up 3 percent). He previously drew 159 million on the Jan. 22, 2011, chart as featured on Rihanna's "What's My Name?".
Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna, enters the Hot 100's top five, rising 6-5. Rihanna scores her 21st top five Hot 100 hit, tying Elvis Presley for the fifth-most top fives in the chart's history, which dates to Aug. 4, 1958. (Notably, Presley's career launched two years before the chart began.) Here's a look at the acts with the most top five hits, as Rihanna breaks out of a tie with two icons, each with 20:
Most Top Five Hot 100 Hits
29, The Beatles
28, Madonna
26, Mariah Carey
24, Janet Jackson
21, Elvis Presley
21, Rihanna

Drake's 'Views' Spends Eighth Week in a Row at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart
Quote:
Drake’s Views continues to reign atop the Billboard 200 chart, as the set spends an eighth consecutive week at No. 1. The album debuted in the penthouse, and has yet to depart the No. 1 slot. In the week ending June 23, it earned another 124,000 equivalent album units (up 2 percent). Of that sum, 33,000 were in pure album sales (up 25 percent).
With an eighth week at No. 1, Views has the most weeks at No. 1 for an album by a man since 2000, when Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP also earned eight weeks (all consecutive) at No. 1 (charts dated June 10-July 29, 2000). The last album to spend at least eight weeks at No. 1 was Adele’s 25 in late 2015 and early 2016, with 10 nonconsecutive frames atop the list.
Views has the most consecutive weeks at No. 1 by any album since the Frozen soundtrack racked eight straight weeks (out of its 13 total at No. 1) between March 29 and May 17, 2014.
Views is also just the fourth hip-hop album to spend at least eight weeks at No. 1. It joins The Marshall Mathers LP, Vanilla Ice’s To the Extreme (16 weeks in 1990 and 1991) and M.C. Hammer’s Please Hammer Don’t Hurt 'Em (21 weeks in 1990).
Views steps ahead of the following hip-hop efforts with seven weeks at No. 1: Beastie Boys’ Licensed to Ill (which ruled in 1987), OutKast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2003-2004) and Eminem’s Recovery (2010).
Back on the new Billboard 200 chart, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ The Getaway arrives at No. 2 with 118,000 equivalent album units (108,000 in traditional album sales). It’s the seventh top 10 album for the rock band, and third to hit the No. 2 slot (following their last studio album, 2011’s I’m With You, and 2002’s By the Way; the Chili Peppers have notched one No. 1 album: Stadium Arcadium, in 2006).

Disgusting that an album selling 33K is higher than an album selling 108K. Billboard is a mess.

Weekly friendly reminder that this is a popularity chart, not a sales chart.

I'd be surprised if he did over 75K tbh.

RHCP would have been #1 without Drake's dishonest discount.

I don't see Max doing anything more than 50-75k.
