Simple question How do you feel about the Illegals in your country?

In the "wonderful" state of Maryland the governor has finally seen the light and has decided to give illegals the right to have a License. I myself was an illegal but i received my residency a year ago the rest of my family unfortunately are still illegal. Before the law for illegals to get licenses was passed illegals would were not able to renew or obtain any type of Identification. Well today i was on facebook and saw a news article and all the ignorant comment about how it's ridiculous that illegals get licenses now. What is the opinion of my fellow ATRL brothers and sisters on this topic?

I don't see the issue that people have with people trying to have a better life. Most undocumented people are very hard working individuals and often do jobs that citizens would never do.

But why? Even if they are harmless?

I have friends that their parents came here illegaly but my parents and I came here legally and stayed past our visa. I see no real diffrence between the two just one came here walking or on a hide away bus and the others had a little more money to get a visa and come

I live in Southern California so I've probably seen a ton of illegals by now working as gardeners, maids & painters.

All I can say is that I like flirting with painters and gardeners

Generally I'm not here for illegal immigration, but I guess when you're in east and central Africa where there are wars, poverty etc they all come to South Africa for a better life. I'm not against that, but sometimes people just abuse their "freedom".

I kinda have to agree with your conservative ass. I do understand the process for legal immigration is tedious and it is easier to just come here illegally.

It's funny this is being mentioned. I was telling some people that, the stereotype is that Mexicans in the US are illegal, but I know more illegal Asians than I do Mexicans.
