I mean these people are brought up with no struggles; they go the best schools and due to their genetics (assuming the reason they're rich is because their parents were smart and got well paid jobs) they're effortlessly intelligent; I mean I study 3 hours a day for an exam and scrape an A yet they just revise a day before and get an A* (full marks) it's unfair Not to mention some of my rich peers are excellent musicians because they've been able to afford lessons since a very young age, while I've always wanted piano lessons but could never afford them I don't know thinking about this all makes me very depressed I kinda wish I was brought up in a privileged background... It just annoys me seeing their smug face - I know jealousy is an ugly trait Anyone else feel this way?

yes tbh, I envy the rich a lot. But you also have to realize that there are probably people lower-class than you, and envy the position you are in. So it’s ok to be jealous but you also have to try and be grateful at the same time.

I'm smart and will work my way up there someday. I ain't jealous of no one.

The only thing that bothers me when it comes to rich people is when complain about their life problems, hence young rich people having higher rates of depression and anxiety than what you'll find in the poorer communities.
I generally believe poor people tend to be more optimistic about their life despite all the other problems they're burdened with, driving Cadillacs in their dreams.
