Drake is set to claim the top spot on this week’s Official Singles Chart with his latest track One Dance.
After surprising fans with a double single release last Tuesday (April 5), the track zooms 20 places and looks set to claim the top spot on this Friday’s Official Singles Chart. Further down, the rapper’s other new song Pop Style looks set to enter the Top 40, currently at 28.
If he holds on to his position, One Dance will be Drake’s first UK chart-topper as a headline artist. He previously reached the summit as a guest feature on Rihanna’s What’s My Name in 2010, while his personal best was with 2013’s Number 4-peaking Hold On We’re Going Home. Meanwhile, Sia’s Cheap Thrills holds at Number 2, and after four weeks at the top, Mike Posner’s I Took A Pill In Ibiza slips to Number 3.
Rounding off today’s update Top 5 are Fifth Harmony’s Work From Home (4) and Zara Larsson’s Lush Life (5).
