I'm actually impressed with these numbers for him.

YAAASSSS.
My favorite song on the album. It's like a tolerable version of No Hands.
Not bad at all, but he needs to hustle from this point. I think the album has some bangers that could do damage on the charts (MG&C + Ass + High), hopefully he can end up Gold kinda like CuDi did, although CuDi had a better niche audience to cater too, I still have a lot of faith in Sean.

Kid Cudi had so much potential to bigger than he was He released the wrong singles off of his debut, and failed to promote his first single off of the second album well enough...

I'm still sad about that, hopefully his third album pushes the right singles!

I actually think it's admirable how much he really doesn't care about record sales and all that. The fact that he goes Gold off his records with insanely minimal promotion and mainstream appeal is amazing, if he did actually put himself out there a lot and made more mainstream friendly tracks he would be huge imo but he just doesn't want to. And it still doesn't stop him from spending 1 million out of his own pocket for music video's and everything. He's a great artist.

His third album is going to be with his band Wizard. Hopefully it's still good though because I LOVED his first two albums.

That is true. He is a great artist. His first two albums were great! He can evoke and emotion out of a song very well! I really hope he will do what he considers a rap album again aside from his band.

I totally agree; gold is at reach. There's alot of good tracks that can do well. They just need perfect timing and music videos. Promo would help too. He's proven to Def Jam that he is a true artist based on the demand and first week #'s. These #'s are great for a new artist, let alone a new rapper with only one single out. They under shipped the first day and more than enough people wanted the album meaning the public is looking into him and willing to support. Based on this I think they'll push him out more and more. And also Kanye West is his mentor, that helps alot lol

At first when i read the title of the track i was like this is gonna be a mess but its actually pretty good. I like both Kanye & Sean's verses alot, and the hook is memorable.

"Soundtrack 2 My Life" and "Sky Might Fall" were obviously singles.
