Things have gone from scary to downright desperate with Lady Gaga. We have received several emails that are allegedly from Team Gaga (but not Mother Monster herself) that offer special gifts (such as trips to England, exclusive interviews, and other goodies) to a certain blogger at MTV. These gifts appear to be in exchange for the writer to write good stories about Gaga. The writer has answered the emails, but with short answers such as "Thanks, I can use most of this" to "When can I get the interview?"
We can't say the name of the writer. (Hint: You want to travel South?) The person sending the emails actually writes suggestions for articles on Gaga. One has to do with her appearance at the 2011 MTV VMAs and how it is the most memorable. Another has to do with using the term "Queen" when referring to Gaga. The person sending the emails suggest that when writing articles about the MTV Video Music Awards, the blogger should put Lady Gaga's name first when referring to a bunch of different artists.
But here's were things get tricky. The originator of the emails sends the MTV blogger a full review of Gaga's MTV VMAs performance to post on Sunday evening or Monday morning. The theme of the review is that Lady Gaga has come back triumphantly from her hip surgery (which we discussed is Gagaspeak language for poor ticket sales and rehab). The review is so over-the-top that we wonder how much of it MTV will use. Actually, if the blogger uses this review, he gets his own exclusive interview with Gaga and a 2-night stay at The Mark, an exclusive hotel in NYC.
We are 99.999 percent sure these emails are legit. If Gaga's performance is the same as it is described here, we will be 100 percent sure. We have to say that on paper, this performance doesn't sound awful. It sounds like a lot of fun, sort of like an olympics game. We will update this article soon.
I believe every artist tries to get their name first if a string of artists are announced etc. I mean seriously, it's about who's considered headlining the events etc. It's called marketing.
Like in the movie industry. There's no way in hell Angelina Jolie would let her name be billed below another female. (And almost never a male either).
That's funny, I don't remember her 2011 performance. I do remember Britney Spears laughing in her face and saying Sorry! I've already done that dumbass! LOL.
