Hello, everyone! welcome to ATRL's newest game,
Make It Chart! The game's objective is very simple, you just have to make your fave song's chart. How? First, you have to sign up below with the artist of your choice. It can be anyone. Just make sure that the artist has enough material and that you are familiar with it.
Every round, there will be a theme and you have to choose a song from your artist that corresponds to the theme. Then, you will have to create a blogpost for that song. The format of the title is
Artist - "Song Title" just like in singles threads. What you will put in the OP is up to you. Just make sure that it is appropriate and abides by ATRL's rules and regulations. Your goal is to garner as many views and comments on your blog in a span of
2 days. A member, especially the original poster, can only make
20 comments per blog. If it exceeds 20, the rest of your posts will not be counted.
Title changes are prohibited. If you see a contestant changing his/her blog title, take a screencap and PM it to me. That contestant will be immediately removed from the game.
So what is the purpose of this blog, you may ask. This blog will partly determine how high your artist's song will chart. The amount of
comments is equivalent to the number of
downloads and the amount of
views is equivalent to the number of
streams. Non-contestants will also be able to participate by requesting your artist's songs right here in this thread. Members'
requests are the song's
airplay. A member can only request for one song once every round. But these are not the only components of the chart points. There will also be
critics who will rate your song choices on a scale of
1-10 depending on the song's quality and its relevance to the theme. You can sign-up to be a critic below, there are 3 spots up for grabs. I, myself, am a critic as well.
Aside from those four components that make up the chart formula, there will also be
promo opportunities. These will increase your total chart points. You will also have to compete for these promos, only one contestant will be granded promo every round.
When the chart points of every song has been computed, the
chart will then be released. Whoever is in the bottom of the chart will be
dropped from the record label aka get eliminated. If a contestant fails to submit for one round, he/she will not be eliminated just yet. His/her chart points will
decrease by 50% by the next round. So be sure to check in on ATRL and this game thread regularly. A round will normally last for
3 days so you have to really be active if you would like to participate.
