Is your fave acclaimed? Stay tuned to find out. This list will include most of ATRL's favourite female artists. Yes, ironically we are only interested in artists with lady parts here.

I'll be using the most comprehensive acclaim source which incorporates every single praise your fave ever received from critics in a form of album ratings, all-time song and album lists, decade-end lists, year-end lists, and so on.

First of all, what is not acclaim? Well, it's obviously not success. Nor it is the Grammys or any other awards, as those are usually about recognition and in worse cases recognition of success.

The source I'll be using is not very well known, but please, if you know about it, don't spoil the fun for others by revealing it.

This will be a Top 30 list (no ties) + 10 more females which aren't really acclaimed and didn't make the list. I'll be posting as fast as I can upload all relevant pictures to photobucket. So hopefully it won't take that long to finish it.

Could we get a list of the 30 artists who made the cut first? Or will that be a surprise? And then of course we have the contentious bit that ALWAYS comes up in these countdowns... do Beyoncé's rankings include Destiny's Child?

Problem is that I prepared the graphics a while ago, but forgot to include one very important fave who would have scored very very high on the list. Can't be bothered to redo everything, so I'd rather keep it as a surprise.

Poor Gaga? Her only bad album score is ARTPOP, if you go by MC

And out of the women in the OP, the only ones who have had better-reviewed albums are Beyoncé and Madonna, so...
