Everyone knows Beyonce can sing, that was never the issue. It was just tacky to not do everything 100% live like every other performer at the Inauguration had to. Girl sit DOWN. You'd never be happy with anything beyonce does so don't act like anything makes a difference. And if you weren't such an idiot you would understand she did sing live. The backing track and her voice were heard in UNISON. People are under the false pretense that she didn't sing live at all, not the former. Stay pressed though.

Because that performance wasn't just Hollywood -- it was America as a whole, it was a global moment, it was HISTORY -- it was in front of the nation and its leaders. It's one thing when Britney is miming on stage in front of her fans...it's another when an artist is lying to the general public and its leaders.

I agree 100% with this post. We know she can sing. We already knew she lip-synced at the Inauguration. This doesn't really "shut up" the "haters".

No sweetie, I know very well that Beyonce had a backtrack and I like the girl very much...nonetheless, what EVERYONE heard on TV and what EVERYONE heard in-person was the PRE-RECORDED track. It took RAW footage from AP to confirm the backtrack.

If you can't hear the LIVE vocals, then who gives a **** if she was really singing under the backtracking. It makes no difference.

I was like yassssssss i know the brit stans will start talking...like they are mad that other performer atleast adreas if they lip sync or not, and why they did it and if it was fuly lip synched...u now what the funny thing is that the people talking are the one that either their fave stink and should not have had a record deal or they sound really horible live...

Ok so you're saying its ok for Britney to take her fans money and blatantly half ass her performances pacing back and forth instead of dancing & miming to her cds? But when Beyonce uses a backing track for an important function such as the inauguration that is usually required given it's importance it's not? Please save the delusion for somebody else.
