CHVRCHES - "The Mother We Share"
Above, stream the new single from CHVRCHES, set for release in November. The synth-pop juggernaut recalls such artists as Young Wonder, Grimes, M83, and Purity Ring.
But don't take it from me, check out these publications' reviews of "The Mother We Share":
From Pitchfork:
Quote:
Scottish electro-pop trio Chvrches' new single is called "The Mother We Share", and that song title isn't the only thing that it shares with the Knife ... Clearly, the raven-masked Silent Shout is a primary color for a lot of young acts today, but Lauren Mayberry's neon sing-song vocals makes Chvrches stand out in a crowded field.

From Pretty Much Amazing:
Quote:
CHVRCHES are every bit Glasgow’s answer to Purity Ring.

From Indie Shuffle:
Quote:
It took me literally ten seconds to become completely hooked on this ... Her voice soars across a barrage of sparkly synths and glitchy hard hitting percussion but still manages to maintain a certain amount of delicacy and grace ... Chvrches are best thing to come out of Scotland since Sean Connery.
