Let the conditioner/shave gel set for a bit to soften the hair
Wash your face/neck after the shave
Wipe with a clean towel or paper towel
Use after shave balm. I have a homemade mix of 1 part tea tree to 10 part emu/jojoba oil. Apply a drop on your hands and gently apply on the shaven areas

I use the Gillette Razor with the 5 blades and the power to raise the hairs up. I've used it for years now and it does the trick on all my face areas. It has a 6th blade for detail work like side burns and sculpting.
Don't use an electric razor, you won't get a close shave that way.
If you get irritations/red spots on your neck after shaving it's because you likely have coarse/curly hair. Use this after shaving and they'll go away. It'll sting for like 2 seconds but it works wonders

Yeah, that's what I heard too that electric razor don't give you a close shave. I do have coarse hair so I'll look that up. Thanks!
