News: 56% of Americans against admitting refugees

Fifty-three percent of Americans in the survey say the best course of action is for the U.S. to deny Syrian refugees entry into the U.S.

Um no, the country was definitely not established by "refugees". They were religious individuals who wanted to practice their form of Christianity which involved Witch Hunts and Slavery.

The backbone of America was for entrepreneurial white upper class tradesmen and their colonial culture was built to protect that.

Besides the fact that terrorists can attack is without pretending to be refugees (I know right!) denying refugees while other countries in the UN are accepting would be totally hypocritical. Not even counting the fact that virtually all (over 99.9%) of these refugees need us.

I'm from Canada where there's been a ton of debate over our Prime Minister promising to let in 25,000 refugees, and that promise was made long before the Paris attacks. I can assure you that what you're saying isn't true for most of that 56%. I saw way more people who just used the Paris attacks as a justification for their pre-determined opinion than I saw people who legitimately changed their minds because of the attacks.

So this poll is specifically referring to people fleeing war. The U.S. was not founded by people fleeing conflict zones, and thus you can't compare these refugees to the people that founded the nation.
