Welcome! So glad to be doing this for the third time. In fact, the Best Of season has always been my favourite time of the year. Just something about making a list for everything that satisfies me.
Last year, I mentioned my taste was starting to move a little away from the "mainstream", whereas this year, I feel like I'm enjoying pop a lot more. Fun, upbeat pop music was what really got me. Maybe my life this year has been sad, so I need some pick-me-up in my music, or I'm tired of trying to get into more obscure stuff.
Enough bout me, let's see what I'll be covering this year...
In addition to those three main lists, I'll be doing some various minor lists. I'll definitely be doing Top Album Tracks and Top Recurrent Tracks. Maybe I'll do a 25 album ranking? One Direction singles ranking?
Now for the all the nerdy statistics that no one cares. This year, I've listened to 51 albums, compared to 43 in 2014 and 37 in 2013. But, I'm only doing a top 25 albums, unlike last year's top 30. I guess I didn't have as much time to really get into many of these albums, which actually kinda makes me sad cuz I really do wanna really get to know a lot of them and I just don't have the time.
So, IIIIIIIIIIIIII'm coming up so we better get this party started! I would really appreciate it if y'all could give comments! And I'm sorry if I can't comment on yours frequently, people in green uniforms carrying weapons don't get a lot of time.
